Welcome to the Kowloon Comix Collective!

If you're passionate about comic books, illustration, or simply love chatting about pop culture and fine art, you've found your crew. Think of us as a cozy, welcoming hub where curious creatives can gather to sketch, share ideas, and get inspired. This isn't a stuffy lecture hall—it's a relaxed, supportive community focused on genuine exchange and hands-on comic making.

What to Expect Hosted by three active members of the local Hong Kong arts and culture scene, our two-hour meetups are entirely stress-free. You can spend the time deep-diving into comic discussions, quietly working on your own drawings, or collaborating with fellow artists.

• A Truly Open Community: We welcome absolutely everyone, regardless of skill level. Our group is also fully multilingual—whether you want to chat and create in English, Chinese, or any other language, you have a place at our table.

• Learn from the Pros: Want to sharpen your skills? Pick up foundational drawing techniques directly from professional comic strip artists.

• Insider Self-Publishing Tips: We'll give you the inside scoop on how to bring your creations to life, sharing easy and budget-friendly ways to print your own work.

Get Your Art Published! We don't just draw—we share our art with the city. By joining the collective, you'll have the exciting opportunity to get your work printed in our epic collaborative anthology book or our quarterly magazine. We distribute these publications to cafes, restaurants, and bookshops all across Hong Kong, giving your art real, local visibility.

Bring an open mind, your sense of wonder, and whatever tools help you create. At minimum, pack your favorite sketchbook, colored pens, markers, pencils, your preferred drawing paper, watercolors or other paints, brushes, erasers, or any other art supplies you love working with. Got a tablet or digital drawing setup? Bring that too — all mediums are welcome here. Let’s start creating something awesome together!
