Chess is one of the world's oldest and most popular games, a two-player board game and a mind sport. Using 16 pieces each of white and black, the objective is to checkmate the opponent's king. Additionally, you can enjoy shogi, the Japanese version of chess, and Xiangqi (Chinese chess). Seating is open, so solo participants are very welcome. You can also participate in various international exchange events that are happening simultaneously. Everyone is welcome to come by. ♟️ Notice • If you don't have an opponent\, please join one of the international exchange matches taking place at other tables. • If you come alone\, you may have to wait\, so please come with friends to play with whenever possible. ☕️ Information 💡 Fees Participation Fee: *FREE* (Regardless of nationality or gender) • Entry and exit are free, and you are welcome to attend at any time • One drink order is required (from 500 JPY) • An additional drink is from 300 JPY • You can also order alcohol • Light meal is from 100 JPY • A one-time “Member Passport” issuance fee of 100 JPY applies • Cash only 💡 Participation • This meetup group is for members only.
