Our annual summer day in the park is back for round two!
Lesbifriends Travel invites you to spend a Saturday in Anacostia Park with your community for a free, donation-based day filled with music, line dancing, Black and brown queer vendors on site with food, drinks, and handmade goods, and the kind of easy, joyful energy that August was made for.

Come and go as you please, pull up for an hour or stay all six, and let the park do the rest.

⏰ Time: 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM
📍 Location: Anacostia Park, Washington, DC (exact location shared with registered attendees the week of the event)
💸 Cost: Free with a suggested $10+ donation
What to Expect
• A live DJ will have music flowing all afternoon
• Line dancing pop-ups throughout the day
• Yummy eats by Delicious Tacos food truck
• Black and brown queer vendors serving food, drinks, and handmade goods
• Community, connection, and time to lounge with your people
What to Bring
Blankets, chairs, sunscreen, bug spray, cash and card to support our vendors, comfortable shoes, and your whole beautiful self. Skip the outside food and let our vendors feed you.
