From Prompt Injection to Production-Ready Defenses AI agents do more than answer questions. They read emails, process documents, interact with APIs, and use external tools through protocols such as the Model Context Protocol (MCP). These capabilities introduce new security risks, particularly when untrusted content attempts to influence an agent's behavior.
GrowSphere presents a hands-on workshop on prompt injection and MCP security, as part of D-TEC 2026 at ATLAS SkillTech University, Mumbai. Join developers, AI engineers, cybersecurity enthusiasts, and working professionals from across Mumbai to explore how attacks against AI agents work—and how to design practical defenses for real-world systems.
What You'll Explore Prompt injection fundamentals: How malicious instructions can enter an AI agent's workflow. MCP attack surfaces: Security risks associated with tool access, external data, and agent integrations. Agent manipulation: How attackers attempt to redirect agent behavior and misuse connected tools. Defensive approaches: Practical ways to reduce risk and strengthen agent workflows. Production readiness: Security considerations when moving AI agents beyond prototypes. Who Should Attend This workshop is designed for: Software developers and AI engineers building agent-powered applications Cybersecurity professionals and security enthusiasts Developers exploring LLMs, MCP, and tool-enabled AI systems Working professionals interested in secure AI adoption Students and builders seeking a deeper understanding of AI security
