Join the Counterspell Games pop-up at Welcome to Chinatown for a night of adventure! Your mission: Board an impossible flying ship and join a ragtag crew to save the capitol city before it’s too late! If you love in-person games, role-playing as characters, and exploring new places in a science-fantasy world, you'll love the theme of this Daggerheart compatible adventure. All player levels welcome.
More than you ever expected from a one-shot adventure ✨ We'll have everything you need to play, from dice, to printed character sheets. We also limit our table sizes to create a more cozy, living-room like vibe! ⭐️ Our warm and welcoming GMs will guide players through every moment, helping you step into our original world setting of Riftsong. 🌟 Our sessions are always human made, and crafted new each month. From the writing, to the handmade miniature sets, the 3D printed and hand painted minis, escape room-like game puzzles, and the hand-drawn character art, our events are proudly low-tech! What our players are saying: ❤️ “As someone who hasn't played often it was easy to follow along without feeling intimidated or judged“ 📚 “I love how well thought out all of the characters were and that you provided us with different options to choose from.” 🤯 “The fact that this much effort is put into a one-shot game is very cool” 🧝♂️ “Our GM was amazing. So patient, so kind, so smart and inventive.”
What you'll experience at a Counterspell Game Session: A completely original story, all in one sitting. Our adventures are finely-tuned "one-shots" - deeply satisfying plot arcs that are completable in one session. And because it's all driven by the people at your table, no two games are ever the same. Explore Riftsong, our vast, original cosmic fantasy setting. From space fairing mages to gritty brass laden machine guilds, musical weaponry and ancestry woven as scarves, flying sheep and amphibious wolves, Riftsong is a space of endless possibilities.
