Join us for the hiSeoulies Book Club! ๐ค For our first gathering, there's **no need to have read a specific book**. Instead, we'll spend the afternoon getting to know each other, chatting about our favorite genres, tropes, authors, and the last book we loved. Together, we'll decide on a book to read for our next meeting, making this the perfect opportunity to help shape our little reading community from the very beginning. This event is perfect if: โจ you love reading or want to get back into it โจ you're always looking for new book recommendations โจ you enjoy talking about favorite characters, plots, and book tropes โจ you'd love to meet fellow book lovers and make new friends in Seoul Whether you're a lifelong reader or just starting your reading journey, everyone is welcome. Bring your favorite book (or just your enthusiasm), grab a drink, and let's spend a cozy afternoon talking all things books. โก Please note that the purchase of one drink per person is mandatory during the meetup. **What to bring** Your favorite book (optional) and your best recommendations! **Women Only Event** This event is exclusively for women. We aim to create a safe and comfortable space where women can connect openly and celebrate together. Thank you for respecting the intention of this gathering. **What's Included** The total contribution is **$5 USD**, processed via PayPal. Your contribution includes: * Our regular $5 organization fee If you donโt have PayPal, please message one of the hosts via Meetup and weโll share our Korean bank transfer details with you. As always, the organization fee helps us cover planning, coordination, and reservations so we can keep creating intentional gatherings for our community. **Cancellation & Refund Policy** hiSeoulies invests significant time in planning and coordinating each event. To keep our gatherings intentional and well-organized, the following refund policy applies: Cancellation by the participant: * More than 7 days before the event: Full refund of the hiSeoulies organization fee * 3โ7 days before the event: 50% refund of the hiSeoulies organization fee * Less than 3 days before the event: No refund * No-show (no prior notice): No refund For events that include third-party services (e.g., classes, workshops, or venue bookings), these costs may be non-refundable once your spot has been confirmed. This will always be clearly stated in the event description. Cancellation by hiSeoulies: If hiSeoulies cancels an event, all participants will receive a full refund of all fees paid. **Attendence Confirmation** To keep the event well-organized and avoid last-minute empty spots, weโll send a short check-in message **2 days before the meetup** to confirm attendance. If your plans change, please let us know as early as possible so we can offer the spot to someone else.
