Many of us have tried AI tools. The bigger question is how to make them genuinely useful.
As part of the Artificial Intelligence 101 Series, this workshop builds on earlier sessions that introduced participants to different AI tools and possibilities. This session shifts the focus from exploring tools to applying them in real life.
Participants will learn how to use AI to get unstuck, save time and organise everyday tasks, from planning a holiday and drafting a message to comparing options, creating checklists, learning new topics or preparing for a conversation.
Using the simple habit of Ask. Refine. Verify. Apply., participants will practise how to ask better questions, improve AI responses, check what matters and turn AI-generated suggestions into useful next steps.
Designed for adults who are new to AI or have started experimenting with AI tools, this session uses practical examples relevant to life and work in Singapore.
No coding knowledge or technical experience is
required.
Participants will learn how to:
• Ask AI more useful questions for everyday tasks
• Refine prompts to get clearer and more practical answers
• Use AI for planning, writing, learning, organising and comparing options
• Turn AI responses into checklists, plans, messages and next steps
• Check key information before using AI suggestions in real life
By the end of the session, participants will be better able to use AI with confidence, purpose and common sense in daily life.
Designed and delivered by Kids PlaySafer and aligned with the AI Ready ASEAN curriculum developed by AI Singapore in collaboration with the ASEAN Foundation and supported by Google.org, this workshop supports informed and ethical AI use in learning contexts.
Suitable for youths, parents, and lifelong learners.
