The annual Violet Crown Trail Fun Run promotes health and well-being throughout our community while highlighting the interconnectivity of the trail between neighborhoods, peaceful wooded areas, convenient urban amenities, and neighborhood parks. The Violet Crown Trail Fun Run is an annual celebration of community, conservation, and outdoor recreation. This family-friendly, untimed event welcomes participants of all ages and abilities to run, walk, skip, and roll their way down the trail. It’s a favorite first run for many and a chance for friends, families, and neighbors to enjoy the outdoors together. After crossing the finish line, attendees enjoy a community celebration featuring local businesses, nonprofit trail partners, activities, and opportunities to connect.
