Join us for a relaxing day of plein air painting at Baker Beach, one of San Francisco’s most beautiful coastal destinations. With breathtaking views of the Golden Gate Bridge, dramatic cliffs, waves, and sandy shoreline, there’s no shortage of inspiration for artists of every skill level. Baker Beach is larger, easier to access, and has much more parking than nearby China Beach, making it a great location for our meetup. 📍 Parking & Access There are three free parking areas: * North Lot – The largest lot with easy, flat access to the beach, public restrooms, picnic tables, BBQ grills, and accessible parking spaces. * South Lot – A smaller overflow parking lot. * Sea Cliff Access Lot – Located near 25th Avenue for convenient access to the south end of the beach. Parking Tip: Parking is free but fills up quickly on sunny weekends, so arriving a little early is recommended. On weekdays or cooler, foggy days, finding a space is usually much easier. 🖌️ What to Bring Bring your favorite painting or drawing supplies, a chair or stool if you’d like one, water, snacks, sunscreen, and a light jacket or layers. Coastal weather can change quickly, and it can be breezy even on warm days. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced artist, come enjoy a few hours of creativity, fresh ocean air, and great company. Feel free to paint, sketch, or simply relax and take in the scenery. We look forward to creating with you!
