Chicago Roots and Branches Discovery Night
About the event
We are hosting another Chicago Roots and Branches Discovery Night for anyone interested in exploring their family history. Whether you have spent years building a detailed family tree or are just curious about how to start digging into your own background, this is a space to share what you have uncovered and get help with the parts where you have hit a wall. We find that the best part of these evenings is simply talking through our research with others who understand the unique challenges of untangling a family story.
The gathering is informal and focused on conversation. We will have a few reference materials and local resources on hand, but mostly we are looking forward to hearing about the branches you have discovered lately and the stories you are trying to piece together. It does not matter if your research is focused on Chicago ancestors or if your family roots lead elsewhere; we are here to support one another in the process of discovery.
