👁️🎬VERITY

🖋️*Oooh, those horrifying revelations. They are the confessions of heinous crimes, repackaged as words, only to become the ultimate psychological trade...*

Hey guys! And this is exactly why I choose my friends carefully, and even more so who I work with. And by the way, we’re at the beginning of Halloween season, so make sure you look under those masks.

Tonight we are watching a psychological thriller about a struggling writer who uncovers a disturbing hidden manuscript while hired to finish a famous author’s book series. The manuscript contains horrifying confessions, including the author’s dark perspective on her family tragedies and the suspicious deaths of her children.

The film is directed by Michael Showalter and based on the bestselling novel by Colleen Hoover.

The Meetup: We'll be meeting at 7:00 pm at the Victory House Wine Bar for drinks and to maybe talk about some of our favourite psychological thrillers. Then we’ll head over to Cineworld Leicester Square (Screen 2) for the 8:00 pm screening.

Then after the film at around 10:20 pm, we’ll reconvene once again to share our reviews and score the film for [Letterboxd](https://letterboxd.com/movieroadhouse/). You’ll also find the full ticket information, cinema address and map down below, so you won’t get lost.

You know, just cutting ties with those who constantly invalidate your reality is often the healthiest and most effective choice.

See you guys then! Jonny
