Create Your Sound for Film

At this family workshop things will get loud after watching a few short films. What does fire sound like? What do you hear when a slide loops? Together with a museum teacher you will create sound effects to accompany a film scene. During Filmmagie you watch and make together. A museum teacher will help you use the strangest objects to create sound effects for a scene from Steamboat Willie, a short animation by Walt Disney from 1928. This programme demonstrates and lets you hear how important sound is in cinema. For children aged 6 and up.
