About the event
Before diving into Ildikó Enyedi’s latest work, Silent Friend, revisit the Hungarian master’s Berlinale Golden Bear winning masterpiece that captivated audiences worldwide. Set against the backdrop of a stark Budapest slaughterhouse, two socially awkward co-workers discover they’ve been sharing the exact same dream every night, where they transform into two deer quietly falling in love in a snowy forest. Bizarre, tender, darkly funny, and poetic, On Body and Soul is one of the most uniquely arresting love stories modern European cinema has ever produced. Don't miss this rare big screen pairing! In Hungarian with English subtitles. Rated M18 for Sexual Scenes TW: Contains scenes of animal cruelty.
