Come along for a drop-in long pose life drawing session upstairs. This class provides a safe space to create and explore your artistic skills at any level, from beginner (never drawn before) to experienced artists.
Unlike the regular life drawing sessions, this class focuses on extended poses, with the model returning to the same pose throughout the evening. This format allows more time for careful observation and is ideal for those working in watercolour, painting, or any medium that benefits from a slower pace and sustained focus. Breaks will be taken throughout the session while maintaining pose continuity.
A different model is featured each week, and the workshop is hosted by Nathan McGlynn, visual artist and Changing Room Gallery director.
Paper and various drawing implements, including pencils, markers, charcoal, and pastels are provided. Feel free to bring your own materials if you prefer, particularly if working in paint or other specialised media.
