In the Mouth of Madness in 4K

Directed and scored by John Carpenter, and written by Michael De Luca, this love letter to the work of H. P. Lovecraft sees insurance investigator John Trent (Sam Neill) journey to a mysterious small town, unaware that he is entering the depths of insanity. Taking its name from Lovecraft’s 1936 novella At the Mountains of Madness , the final film in the Apocalypse Trilogy follows Trent as he tracks down horror novelist Sutter Cane (Jürgen Prochnow), who has gone missing after completing his latest book. Word spreads that anyone who reads an advance copy of the novel becomes a homicidal maniac, but Trent is convinced it is all a publicity stunt—until his investigation leads him to an eerie town identical to Cane’s work.
