Fundraiser for the Migrant Solidarity Mutual Aid (MSMA) with performances from Southside Shai, Acid Red Dress, and Melting Virgo. **About the Artists** **[Southside Shai](https://www.instagram.com/southside_shai/)** \| An explicitly place\-based\, anti\-caste project from multidisciplinary artist and communicator Shai Huq **[Acid Red Dress](https://www.instagram.com/acidreddress/)** \| DC duo playing electrified folk with blues influences and a lyrical take on sorrow\, beauty\, and power\. **[Melting Virgo](https://www.instagram.com/meltingvirgo/)** \| Music educator\, performer\, and environmental justice advocate Alice M\-A Goldberg leads this project featuring ripping horn lines and communal singing\. Be ready to sing along\! **About the venue** **[Rhizome DC](https://www.rhizomedc.org/)** is a nonprofit community arts space located at 6950 Maple St NW, in the Takoma neighborhood of Washington DC. We are dedicated to promoting creativity as a force for personal empowerment and community engagement.
