Hi all, cost & info below. The brand-new pedestrianised Oxford Street will be in Place for Christmas, come and see it and also a brand new array of Xmas light themes never used before at Christmas In London!
This is the Main Lights and Hidden Gems at Christmas (Oxford Street etc, this is the earlier walk at 4.30pm. There is a repeat of this same walk at 7.30pm on the same day, Sun 29 Nov) Please click on the other 7.30pm walk advertised on meetup if you prefer the later walk)
Please note approx 25-30 members will be on the walk, not what is advertised, as only half the members turn up with most meetup groups.
Please join everyone for a beautiful 3 mile 'Magical Christmas Lights Walk and the Christmas Hidden Gem Lights! Find out about the history of Christmas in London and also how the Christmas lights started along with other interesting stories of Yule!
Included in this walk are all the famous Christmas Lights of London such as Oxford Street, Regent Street, Soho, Covent Garden and much more taking in the Big Lights to the beautiful, more secluded quaint or hidden wonderful displays of Christmas. This does not include 'Magical Mayfair Christmas Lights' which is a different Christmas Lights Walk.
A 3 Mile linear walk from St Mark's Church Mercato (Info meet below location) to Leicester Square Station. Please dress warm, please bring some snacks en route, toilets are located inside Mercato St Mark's before we leave for our Christmas Extravaganza!
There will be background music from the Human Jukebox (me!) with some of the most famous Christmas Songs and Carols to join us on our festive walk!
Ready for Christmas we will see beautiful lit up streets, Christmas Markets, beautiful trees, so many bright colours from everywhere that London lights up the dark, a sight to behold and beautiful areas to photograph

I cannot join you on a social afterward as I have to lead the same walk again after this walk, but my suggestion would be the London Hippodrome. It is free to enter and there is a Heliot Steak House, Permission Lounge bar and Archive & Myth bar all on the first floor where you can buy food and drinks at modest prices. Maybe try out the rooftop bar at the London Hippodrome at the Upper Gods Bar!
ABOUT OUR SECRET LONDON WALKS It is a 15-year fascinating journey together to explore the whole of beautiful, enchanting Secret London. The only walking group in the World offering this unique experience!
The individual walks have been created from an original route several miles in length (usually on average about 50 miles) where we have checked every nook and cranny, every hidden alleyway, lane, lost cobbled path, cul de sac, avenue, road or street in that area for you! It is then shortened, to give back to you a magical walk with all the best bits of 'Lovely London', voted the best City in the World for the 10th year running!
What is given back to you is the most scenic, healthy walk (usually 3-6 miles in length) with some of the walks containing hidden cobbled lanes, lost shops, secret gems, areas lost in time, wonderful views, idyllic Instagram photo shots and all sorts! Now and then some brief local info is mentioned or something of historical importance along the way.
You will have plenty of time to chat and meet new friends whilst walking the amazing lost areas of London! So we welcome you to the colourful highlights of this fascinating City of London with simply wonderful things to see!
