Grab your ray gun and your switchblade — Rocket Cinema is throwing the ultimate night of camp-meets-grindhouse female badassery. First up: Barbarella (1968), Jane Fonda's psychedelic space odyssey so gloriously over-the-top that one critic at the time dismissed it as a "sick, heavy-handed fantasy with nudity" — which, honestly, sounds like a five-star review to us.
Then things get scrappy with Switchblade Sisters (1975), Jack Hill's cult girl-gang classic that Quentin Tarantino loved so much he personally rescued it from obscurity and re-released it — and he wasn't wrong when he told USA Today "there's more action in Sisters than in Twister."
