# 🚶♂️(NEW) Fall Walk: New Market Go Station to Aurora Go Station Trail!🚶♂️ We’re trying something new! Join us for a **beautiful 10 km fall walk** (about 3 hours plus a break) as we make our way from **New Market GO Station to Aurora GO Station**. Along the way, we’ll pass through tree-filled areas, Fairy Lake, Wesley Brooks Conservation Area, scenic walking paths, and peaceful waterways. With colourful fall foliage all around, this will be one of the most stunning walks of the season! *** ## 🚆 How We’re Getting There: GO Train * **Cost:** $10 Weekend Day Pass → Buy here (Buy after **August 13th** – valid for 10 days. Do *not* activate until we all meet up. This is cheaper than Presto or senior fares. Online only.) * **Route:** Union Station → New Market GO Station (we are on the Barrie Line heading towards **Allandale Waterfront**). *** ## ⏰ Meetup Details * **Meetup Time:** 9:30AM (we’ll wait until 9:45 AM before walking over to Union Station). * **Meetup Spot:** Outside the **Fairmont Royal York Hotel** – look for me wearing my Moose Hat 🦌. * **Train Leaves:** 10:01 AM sharp. * **Arrival at East Gwillimbury:** 1100 AM. *** ## 🚌 Return Train Options * 1:55 PM – our target return train. * 2:55 PM – in case we miss the first one. *** ## 🚗 Driving Option If you’d rather drive: * Meet us at **New Market GO Station** at **11:00 AM.** * We will leave promptly at **11:10 AM** – please be on time! * You will be responsible for getting back to your parking spot. * We will not me walking back. *** ## 💲 Fees * **Meetup Fee:** $5 cash 💵 or e-transfer 📲 to **mathewmaclean@hotmail.com** * **GO Train Day Pass:** $10[ (CLICK HERE)](https://www.gotransit.com/en/partners-and-promotions/weekend-passes-with-go) *** ## 📌 What to Bring * Water * Good walking shoes * A snack or light lunch * Weather-appropriate clothing (it’s fall – layers are your friend!) *** ## 💬 Final Notes This group is open to everyone – singles, couples, or just those wanting to meet new friends.
