About the Event Join DMV Nerdettes for Studio Ghibli Fest and a special theatrical screening of Princess Mononoke, one of Studio Ghibli’s most celebrated films. The movie is returning to theaters for a limited time, so this is our chance to experience its beautiful animation, fantasy world, and unforgettable story on the big screen. Please purchase your own ticket in advance directly from Fandango or Regal. Try to select a seat in Row G so we can sit together. I’ll be seated in G-8 for the 4pm showing at Regal Majestic in Silver Spring. Location & Time Saturday, September 26, 2026 4:00 p.m. Regal Majestic Downtown Silver Spring The theater is Metro accessible from the Silver Spring Metro station. Those driving can park in the garage connected to the Downtown Silver Spring complex. Sushi After the Movie After the screening, we’ll continue the Japanese theme with dinner at Kusshi Sushi, located within walking distance of the theater. Kusshi offers sushi, ramen, Japanese small plates, sake, and other options. Dinner is optional, but we hope you’ll join us! 🎬🍜
