Double Seventh Cultural Week explores love, connection, respect and self-expression through art, cultural traditions and community dialogue. Centred on Threads of Love, the program reimagines the festival beyond romantic love, reflecting on relationships, women’s experiences, cultural memory and the many ways people connect.
Special programs on 14 and 16 August include a women’s safety and support seminar, the exhibition opening night, a traditional lacquer fan workshop, and a curator and artist talk. Together, these activities invite visitors to explore healthy relationships, contemporary expressions of love and the stories behind the artworks.
The program offers an inclusive and welcoming space for learning, creativity and cultural exchange. All activities are free and open to everyone.
