For this meetup we have 2 sessions on design systems in different settings, namely:
In first session, Daniel Pillinger and Melanie Schörg will show how to build complex, multi-brand design systems that seamlessly work with both AI agents and human teams. You will learn how to: • implement a token structure (scalable 3-tier token strategy) • teach AI agents to understand and use your design system architecture with Figma API, MCP, and Code Connect.
In the second talk, Hannah Greenhalgh and Melita Balaski will guide you through how small, startup-style teams turn Figma files into shipped product features fast. You’ll explore a workflow built around Claude Code and a small design system, covering the entire pipeline from handing off finished designs to development to taking them all the way to production in 24 hours.
