Honor Our Veterans at Fort Lawton
About the event
It seems like the Holiday Club, which we are, should do something to honor our Vets. So we chose this date. Discovery Park is the new name the city bestowed on what was a long time US Army base called Fort Lawton. Our route will visit the park, the cemetery, and nearby neighborhoods to provide a 10 K route as well as a shorter 5K route. Yes, it's a Wednesday, but, if it's a holiday for you, please come join us. Discovery Park North Lot. From I-5: Exit #167 Mercer (NB = left-hand exit).
