The project
*Lisbon Meditation Circle* is a not-for-profit project aiming to bring together people interested in meditation, who would like to practice with the support of a group, in a safe and compassionate environment, welcoming diversity and inclusion. Everyone is welcome, regardless of their level of experience in meditation.
Event Details
• We will meet on Sunday September 6 from 10h to 11h15.
• The meeting will be conducted in English.
• The event is open for beginners as well as more experienced meditators.
• Adil will facilitate this session and provide basic meditation instructions.
• Please plan to arrive on time, we will only wait for 5 minutes at the meeting point before moving to the meditation location nearby on the grass.
• There will be an informal drinks & chat at a café nearby after the session for those who would like to join.
Schedule
• Intro / waiting for people to join: 5 min
• Sitting meditation #1: 20 min
• Walking meditation: 15 min
• Sitting meditation #2: 20 min
• Drinks & chat at a café nearby (optional): open-ended
Location
• We'll be meditating outdoors in Parque Eduardo VII. We'll try to find a shaded area.
• Parque Eduardo VII. Near the restaurant "Praia no Parque". We'll meet near the "Espelho d'água do parque" reflecting pool / fountain.
