About the Event

The Human Library, titled “Let’s Get Comfortable”, aims to reframe mental health conversations not as brave or difficult acts, but as human, everyday exchanges. Through warmth, choice and shared stories, this Human Library invites the public to sit in with an open mind and learn more about living with mental health conditions.

For over 30 years, Junn has journeyed through recovery from major depressive disorder with remarkable resilience and determination. Along the way, she discovered that caring is not only about receiving support during difficult times, but also about giving hope to others. Today, she is a passionate mental health advocate who uses her lived experience to encourage, empathise and walk alongside those facing similar challenges.

Grief can arrive unexpectedly and change the way we see ourselves and the world. Having experienced profound loss from a young age, Wei Hong has learnt that healing is about finding the strength to carry love and loss together. His story offers a compassionate space to explore loss, mental well-being, and the hope that can emerge even in life's most difficult seasons.

Registration and Attendance
