Sip + Solder Mushrooms: Contracommon's Stained Glass Workshop at Austin Beerworks

SUNDAY, AUGUST 2ND / 12-4PM AUSTIN BEERWORKS - SPRINKLE VALLEY LOCATION $80 per student $140 for two seats All materials included In this 4-hour beginner-friendly class, students will assemble and solder a unique mushroom stained glass suncatcher. Bring nothing and leave with your very own work of stained glass art! Participants will learn the basics of lead-came construction, basic soldering techniques, including the use of tools and techniques unique to the art of stained glass. No experience is necessary and students of all skill-levels are encouraged to participate. Ages 14+; minors must have the supervision of a parent or guardian who is also participating in the class. To make your mushrooms: Glass pieces will be pre-cut and shaped. Students will get to choose from an assortment of pre-cut glass shapes in a variety of colors and textures. The finished product can be made into a hanging suncatcher or a garden stake.
