The story behind 'the gayest horror movie ever made', A Nightmare on Elm Street Part 2: Freddy’s Revenge. Lead Mark Patton disappeared for quite some time. In this documentary he talks about the impact of this cult classic that was shot during the brutal AIDS epidemic. Roman Chimienti's documentary provides the stories behind 'the gayest horror movie ever made' and its impact on audiences and actors. The film made Robert Englund as Freddy Krueger a pop cultural icon; in sharp contrast Mark Patton ('Jesse', the first male 'scream queen') disappeared entirely from view.
