In this listening session at the Arts x Tech Lab, sonic artist Syafiq Halid guides participants through a personal journey examining relational listening as a non-institutional research method. Drawing on nearly twenty years of collecting sounds and music, Syafiq shares how his practice of “stacking” diverse sonic influences has shaped his learning, memory, and artistic thinking. The workshop invites attendees to consider how accumulated sonic encounters can become a form of personal knowledge.
