Join us for a practical 2-hour makerspace session for home-school families, designed for children aged 8–12 and their parents or guardians. Our monthly homeschool makertime program offers digital fabrication skills like 3D printing and laser cutting, as well as offering access to robotics, electronics and hands-on making projects. Each month we explore a different STEM focused activity, including laser cutting, 3D design (CAD), 3D printing, coding and robotics. This session offers a guided CAD activity designed to spark curiosity and build foundational 3D design skills. Children will learn how to create 3D designs using Tinkercad, a free, beginner-friendly software platform that you can access from home.
