Cafe Emmanuel - Weekly LGBTQ+ Cafe for Older Adults
About the event
Café Emmanuel is a weekly luncheon for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender seniors and friends.
This cafe has been around since 2004 and is still going strong! We are always striving to reach new people and bring in new faces to the community. It features occasional entertainment that follows each meal, including recitals from the New England Conservatory and Boston Conservatory as well as, a wide variety of guest speakers.
There is a *suggested* donation of $2 for Seniors ($5.00 adults under 60). This goes towards keeping the nutrition programs running for the community.
There is a wide variety of food each week that is brought in from City Fresh. Coffee and tea are also provided. You do not have to eat - you can also just come for community.
