BUST explores the femme breast as a multifaceted bodily region. Inspired by the energy of punk, the work opens a personal, political, and sensory archive. Two performers navigate through ever-changing landscapes, revealing constructed, wild, and poetic terrains. Breath, lungs, and heart serve as a compass to unfold these layered stories.
Multidisciplinary Performance
This multidisciplinary performance is a collaboration between Anna Riley-Shepard, Maria Pisiou, the punk duo Persobag, and visual artist Natalia Manta. Dance, punk music, and a wearable installation come together. This creates a landscape in which the breast becomes both an intimate territory and a place of politics and embodied resistance. The performance lasts 1 hour and is not bound to a specific language.
