Sensory Universe: The Living Smell AUSTIN! I'm talking to you Join me for an afternoon of smelling, conversation, and discovery. How can one family of plants create so many different scents? Together we'll explore how smell works through a simple guided experience Lemon. Bergamot. Neroli. Petitgrain. etc. They all belong to the same botanical family, yet smell remarkably different. Join us as we follow citrus from tree to perfume, exploring fruit, peel, leaves, blossoms, aroma molecules, and fragrance through guided smelling, conversation, and discovery. Together we'll uncover how one family of plants became one of perfumery's most beloved. No fragrance knowledge is needed. Just bring your curiosity. I will provide a series of perfume samples you can chose from as well as all kinds of materials for exploration. Will have a hand blended tea for each person in attendance. After the gathering, you're welcome to stay, continue the conversation, and enjoy food or drinks from the brewery if you'd like.
