Jean-Luc Godard ‘s 1967 black comedy Weekend looks pretty wacky to me, and I recently heard comedy writer/director Larry Charles call it his favorite film. Apparently, it involves a husband and wife who plan to kill one another on a road trip, as well as some fourth wall–breaking from characters who realize they’re in a movie. I’d love to see it at the Film Society Center and go someplace afterwards to discuss!
The movie starts at 6:30, but I’ll be there at 6:10. The runtime is 104 minutes. Tickets are available through the PFS website: [https://tinyurl.com/mzn6sf24](https://tinyurl.com/mzn6sf24). If you have any questions, just call or text me at (215) 870-9887. Hope to see you there!
