Playing Pictures (2026) is an installation and performance work that combines sound, moving images, and realtime improvisation. Offering audiences insight into his creative practice, Hunter will experiment with processes of splicing and fragmenting images and exploring electronic digital and wiring systems as a way to understand human movement and diaspora. The presentation is a coalescence of Hunter’s studio experimentation and research process.
Performance is 7:30-9:30 pm.
Playing Pictures is made possible thanks to the City of Toronto, the Province of Ontario and the Ontario Arts Council. We acknowledge the support of the Canada Council for the Arts.
