Writing Your Solo Show
About the event
Are you an actor, standup comedian, or storyteller who has always wanted to perform an hourlong solo show?
This could be a play, a stand-up special, a storytelling piece, or a blend of all three.
Maybe you have an idea, or maybe you have no idea how to even get started.
Either way, this is the class for you!
Get yourself on stage with award-winning playwright (and Fringe Festival hit-maker) Curtis Campbell.
Build an original solo show based on your own stories and characters while learning Curtis’ method of turning your idea into a solo show that is both cost effective and artistically rigorous.
Over five classes you will learn the basics of Campbell's method while creating a comprehensive, beat-by-beat outline of your own solo show.
Back by popular demand, this class is perfect for newcomers and established writers who are looking to go from idea to 60 minute show!
