Greg Girard Photography Exhibit, Polygon North Van. Iconic Vancouver Images

Crossposted to two groups, don’t be discouraged by low registration on here (if that happens). First exhibition of the work of renowned Vancouver photographer Greg Girard. This major exhibit features 160 of his works, covering Vancouver’s transformation from a sleepy resource port town in the 1970s to the glittering international metro it is today. Originally from South Burnaby, Girard had an illustrious career as a photojournalist, much of it in East Asia, and this show includes pictures from Hong Kong, Tokyo, Shanghai and Hanoi. Please meet at 2pm outside the front door to the Polygon Gallery. After the exhibit you can choose to join us for tea, coffee etc at a nearby coffee shop.
