Girlssss I am back in Japan and Iโm so excited to announce our next Girls Walk + Coffee meetup for the Expat/Nomad Girls Club ๐ฏ๐ต
This time, weโll explore Kiyosumi-Shirakawa, one of Tokyoโs most charming neighborhoods, mixing traditional gardens, temples, little historical spots and riverside views.
This group was created to bring together women who are living abroad or traveling in Tokyo, so we can build genuine friendships, share experiences, and feel more connected in this beautiful city.
๐ Agenda
10:50-11:00 Check-in
11:00 โ Let's Meet at Kiyosumi-shirakawa Station, Exit A3
Please arrive on time so we can start the walk
First stop: Reiganji Temple
Itโs an Edo-period Buddhist temple and much less touristy than the major Tokyo temples.
Main stop: Kiyosumi Gardens
We will be walking around the pond, stepping stones and landscaped paths. *Please bring ยฅ150 for general admission.*
Walk toward the Sumida River + Kiyosu-bashi Bridge
We will go from enclosed Japanese garden to open river views, and the bridge itself makes a good photo/conversation stop.
Third stop: Bashล Inari Jinja ่ญ่็จฒ่ท็ฅ็คพ
Matsuo Bashล lived in this Fukagawa area, and the local Bashล museum documents his connection with the neighborhood.
Fourth stop: Basho Heritage Garden
This is the little Bashล-an Historic Site Observation Garden, overlooking the river near where Bashล's hermitage was located.
Last stop: Finish at iki Roastery & Eatery
Time to cool down and connect through a nice cup of coffee and pastries:)
*NOTE: Everyone comes alone and are looking to connect so don't be shy to join us.*
