Candlelight: Tribute to Juan Luis Guerra

Candlelight concerts bring the magic of a live, multi-sensory musical experience to awe-inspiring locations like never seen before in Austin. Experience the music of Juan Luis Guerra in a new light at a Candlelight concert at the Alma Thomas Fine Arts Center at Southwestern University in Georgetown. Surrounded by the warm glow of candlelight, the Listeso String Quartet performs beloved songs including “Bachata Rosa,” “Burbujas de Amor,” “La Bilirrubina” and “Ojalá que Llueva Café.” This 60-minute tribute concert celebrates the Dominican singer-songwriter’s iconic blend of merengue and bachata in an intimate setting. Doors open 45 minutes before the performance, and late entry is not permitted. The concert is open to ages 8 and up, with guests under 16 required to attend with an adult. Seating is first come, first served within each zone.
