Sepia-Toned Landscape

A screening of the Japanese-Polish production 'Pejzaż w kolorze sepii' (original title: Tôi yamanamino hikari), a drama directed by Kei Ishikawa and based on the novel by Nobel laureate Kazuo Ishiguro. The film premiered in the official selection of the Cannes festival and explores family secrets, memory, and the fragile bond between a mother and daughter. It runs 123 minutes and features cinematography by Piotr Niemyjski and music by Paweł Mykietyn.
