Saturday Social: Functional Movement, Yoga & Good Coffee in St Gilles

New to Brussels? Looking for a yoga class that's physical, intelligent and genuinely social? Join Pop Up Yoga Concepts at Merci Studio in Saint-Gilles. Real yoga for real bodies which is not about touching your toes. We combine yoga, functional movement and breathwork to help you move with more strength, mobility and awareness, with particular attention to the spine, shoulders, hips, feet and the way you breathe under movement. Classes are suitable for different levels. You don't need to be super flexible, experienced or particularly “yoga-ish” to join.

The class:

Expect a dynamic, practical 75-minute practice combining: • Yoga & functional movement • Strength, mobility and stability • Breathwork and breathing mechanics • Better understanding of how your body actually moves • A good physical workout without taking ourselves too seriously Taught by Mike, 500-hr certified, 11+ years teaching internationally

More than just a class

Pop Up Yoga Concepts has been bringing people together through yoga and movement for over 10 years. The group includes both Brussels locals and people who have recently moved here. After class, we often head out for a coffee or chai nearby, completely optional, but a nice way to meet people beyond the yoga mat. First time? Come alone. A lot of people do. 📍 Merci Studio Place Julien Dillens 1, 4th floor 1060 Saint-Gilles — near Parvis de Saint-Gilles Please register in advance: Spots are limited to keep the group small and personal — register early.
