Gay Men’s Book Club: Siddhartha
About the event
What if the answers you’re searching for can’t be taught—but have to be lived?
This month, we’ll be discussing Siddhartha by Hermann Hesse, a timeless story about one man’s search for meaning, wisdom, and a life that feels truly his own. Along the way, Siddhartha questions the teachings he’s been given, experiments with radically different ways of living, loses himself, and ultimately discovers that wisdom may come less from following someone else’s path than learning to trust his own.
Together, we’ll explore questions like:
• How do we know when it’s time to stop following the path we’ve been given? • What’s the difference between knowledge and wisdom? • What have our mistakes and detours taught us that success couldn’t? • What does it mean to trust yourself as the authority on your own life?
Whether you finish the book, read part of it, or are simply curious about its ideas, you’re welcome to join us. The goal isn’t literary analysis—it’s meaningful conversation, personal reflection, and genuine connection with other thoughtful, growth-oriented gay men.
Come connect, share perspectives, and explore what it means to find—and follow—a path that is truly your own.
