Date: 3 October 2026, Saturday

Time: 3.30pm to 4.30pm

Speaker:  Animal & Veterinary Service and Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals

Synopsis:

Ever wondered what happens to the dogs and cats living in our communities? Join us for a closer look at Trap-Neuter-Rehome/Release-Manage (TNRM) — a scientific approach where free-roaming animals are trapped, sterilised and microchipped, before being rehomed where suitable or released back into the community.

Hear from AVS and SPCA as they share the policy intent behind TNRM, how the programme is implemented on the ground, and the practical considerations involved in managing free-roaming animal populations. Learn how rehabilitation, adoption and responsible pet ownership can play a part in supporting better outcomes for animals and the community.

All are Welcome! Admission Free!
