The 60s and 70s in Singapore were a time of upheaval and a time of change. From self-government to independence to nation-building, Singapore had to navigate what it meant to stand on its own two feet complete with its quirks and idiosyncrasies as an island-state.With the help of suggestions from the audience, join Les Musicables as well as some friends from the local improv scene, as we reimagine what it was like to live, work, play, grow-up, and hope for a better future, in a time when the Singapore of today would not have been imaginable. Through the power of musical theatre, build the world of 60s and 70s Singapore together with our improvisers, as we come up with story, music, lyrics, and dance moves all on the spot.Opening the show is NUSC Improv, who'll be kicking off their new academic year with a bang!
