Story-Time & Photos with Santa
About the event
Families can meet Santa, hear holiday stories and take part in seasonal activities during a morning celebration at Deering Estate. Story-Time & Photos with Santa takes place Saturday, December 5.
The annual holiday event includes story time with Santa’s elves, arts and crafts activities and photos with Santa inside the Richmond Cottage, available for an additional fee. Guests can also explore the estate’s Historic Holiday Decor with a scavenger hunt inside the Richmond Cottage.
Outdoor activities include Gnorman the Deering Gnome and the Lost Winter Star, a family-friendly search that invites visitors to help find ten hidden gnomes across the estate. The activity ties into a seasonal story about restoring the enchanted Winter Star, combining holiday play with exploration of Deering Estate’s grounds.
General admission is $18 for adults and $10 for children ages 4-14, plus tax. Admission is free for Deering Estate Foundation members and children under 3. Holiday photo packages are available for an additional fee paid on-site. The Stone House is closed for renovation and restoration, while the rest of the estate remains open for visitors.
