You don't need to speak English. Since both Japanese and foreign participants join, the atmosphere is always great. Some people don't speak English at all but still have fun :) Looking forward to seeing you!
Join us and beat the summer heat as we visit (and swim or put your feet in if you want) in one of the most scenic waterfalls!
This will be an easy walk on rural mountain roads along the near-pristine Ishikawa River. We'll take our time to enjoy the scenery and then swim in the Kotaki Waterfall and its plunge pool.
Bring plenty of water and a bento. There are a couple of vending machines and small stores along the way, but they only sell snacks.

You will also need swimwear (if you want to swim...you can just dip your feet in:), a towel and shoes that you can take into a river as we will have to wade upstream to reach Kotaki Waterfall and its pool. A silly floatation device may also be fun.

THE PLAN:
11:15-11:35 - - Meet at bottom of the escalators at Nankai Namba Station.
Alternatively, you can meet us at Kawachinagano Station from 12:17 until we catch the bus at 12:30 (bus stop #7)
We will catch the 11:46 Koya Line Sub Express (for Rinkandenentoshi) to Kawachinagano
12:17-12:30 - Transfer to the Takihata Dam Bound Bus, ride to the end of the line.
1:10-1:45 - Walk down to the river for lunch and to get our feet wet.
1:45-2:15 walk up to Kotaki
2:15-4:00 Swim at Kotaki Waterfall and at other swimming holes.
4:00-5:00 - Return to the Takihata Dam Bus Stop fo 5:13 bus back to Kawachinagano.
6:00-6:06 - transfer to Nankai Line (or Kintetsu Line) for return to Namba or home
6:37 - arrive at Nankai Namba Station, otsukaresama
