Painting: introduction to painting techniques
About the event
Ready to dive into painting? This 2.5-hour introductory class provides a comprehensive foundation in acrylic painting, suitable for any style or subject – whether it’s landscape, portrait, still life or abstract work. With guidance from an expert tutor, you'll cover core fundamentals, including: Basic colour mixing Acrylic paint application techniques Using paint mediums for effects Tips for good compositions By the end of the workshop, you'll have a solid understanding of the painting process and the confidence to continue developing your skills independently. Level: designed for beginner level students 16+yrs Bring: yourself and an apron, all art materials provided Wear: enclosed shoes (no sandals or thongs) and comfortable clothing We aim to present inclusive and accessible events.
