The Sexual Health & Reproductive Rights Bar Association (SHRRBA) and NYU Law’s Birnbaum Women’s Leadership Center (BWLC) are delighted to be in conversation with the incredible attorney, author, and sexual health leader, Jennifer Weiss-Wolf, for an exclusive preview of her anticipated forthcoming book: 📖 When in Menopause: A User’s Manual and Citizen’s Guide With When in Menopause, Weiss-Wolf charts the next frontier in health policy and law: confronting systemic medical neglect, securing workplace protections under employment law, safeguarding consumer and health data privacy, and mobilizing the political momentum of Gen X to reshape national policy. The evening's discussion will be moderated by SHRRBA Co-Founders Natalie Birnbaum, Esq. and Melissa Torres-Montoya, J.D., M.P.H. Jennifer Weiss-Wolf serves as Executive Director of the Birnbaum Women’s Leadership Center at NYU School of Law and leads partnerships and strategy at Ms. magazine. Dubbed the “architect of the U.S. campaign to squash the tampon tax” by Newsweek, Jen has presented on menstruation, menopause, and the law at the White House, before Congress, and across state and city legislatures nationwide.
