Yet many women reach this stage of life without enough information, support or a comfortable space to talk openly about the changes they are experiencing. HER NEXT RHYTHM is a new monthly women’s wellbeing experience created by Soretha Winder through Silent Music — bringing together movement, music, connection, conversation and professional health education in a relaxed and uplifting environment. UNDERSTANDING MENOPAUSEWhat every woman should know.For our first HER NEXT RHYTHM gathering, we are creating a morning that combines professional menopause education and health guidance with movement, music, connection and meaningful conversation.We are delighted to welcome Dr Amy Pearce as our guest speaker. As a General Practitioner with a special interest in Women’s Health, Amy will bring her professional knowledge and experience to the conversation, helping women better understand their bodies and the changes that can happen during perimenopause and menopause. MEET DR AMY PEARCEGeneral Practitioner | Special Interest in Women’s Health Dr Amy Pearce is a General Practitioner with a special interest in Women’s Health. She is passionate about helping women feel well and confident in their bodies and, ultimately, flourish in every area of their lives.Amy takes a holistic approach to women’s health, recognising that the female body is deeply interconnected. Hormones, menstruation, nutrition, exercise, sleep, inflammation, energy and emotional wellbeing all influence one another and need to be considered together when understanding a woman’s health.Her interest in Women’s Health began during her time at Stellenbosch University, where she completed her medical degree. She went on to complete a Diploma in Obstetrics and Gynaecology through the College of Medicine of South Africa, as well as a Certificate in Urodynamics from the Bristol Urological Institute.Amy has a particular interest in practical, hands-on Women’s Health care, including basic gynaecological ultrasound and intrauterine device (IUD) insertions and removals.“The female body is so interconnected. What we eat, how we move, how we sleep, inflammation, hormones, our mental health & menstrual cycle and our energy levels. It’s all connected.
