What are we doing this month? 🙃 Apparently standing peacefully in a living room while wearing a VR headset is far too sensible.
So instead, we’re inviting you over to our place, handing you two glowing sabers and asking you to slash flying blocks to music without completely losing your dignity. 😹⚔️🎵
This month, we’re playing Beat Saber!
If you haven’t tried it before, Beat Saber is a ridiculously addictive virtual-reality rhythm game where blocks come flying toward you in time with the music and you have to slice them in the right direction with your virtual sabers.
This month is about: ⚔️ Trying something different — especially if you’ve never stepped into VR before 🎵 Finding your rhythm — or discovering conclusively that you do not have any 🧠 Coordination & quick reactions — your brain and arms will need to negotiate 😹 Laughing at ourselves — an essential Monthly Adventures skill 👏 Cheering each other on — spectacular victories *and* spectacular misses welcome ✨ Sharing an experience — because everything is more fun when somebody else gets to witness it
No Beat Saber or VR experience needed. We’ll show you how everything works.
We’ll provide the VR setup, drinks and snacks in usual Monthly Adventures style. 🥤🍿
Because we’re hosting this one at home, places will be limited so everyone gets plenty of time to play. We’ll share the exact location privately with confirmed adventurers.
Non-profit: AED 25 deposit per person. We’ll tally actual costs afterward and refund any remaining amount to everyone who shows up. 💸
Come as you are - curious, ready to laugh, and open to meeting new people. You can bring your friends along. We’re looking forward to seeing new and familiar faces! The minimum age for this adventure is 10 years.
