Join us at Oranjezicht City Farm for an engaging workshop where we’ll dive into the fascinating world of bees and beekeeping. Whether you’re a budding beekeeper or simply bee-curious, this is your chance to learn more about the tiny heroes that keep our food growing. You’ll learn about:The different types of bees and their roles in the hiveTheir lifecycle and the magic of pollinationThe products of the hive, from honey to waxBeekeeping tools, with an up-close look at an inactive hive We’ll wrap up with a delicious honey tasting, sampling unique honeys from different regions.
